For most of my life, I suffered from depression – an insidious dark cloud that discolored everything, and that refused to yield to my fruitless efforts to manage or banish it. Pushing a boulder uphill each day, and not knowing that my biochemistry had me in chains, I coped and functioned. But I wasn’t free.
I have since been liberated through the use of an anti-depressant. The clouds have cleared (hence the name of the blog, Steve’s Free). I was in the double grip of sin and depression; but now, by God’s grace, I’m freed from both – free to become a man of God, a creative soul, a thinker, an entrepreneur, a Clarity Therapist, and a Connection Agent. And to take pictures once again!
